On Thursday, May 22nd, the prominent newspaper La Verdad reported that the City of Murcia has announced ambitious plans for 8,700 new homes, the vast majority to be developed in the area of Baños y Mendigo, right in the same region as Altaona Sports & Wellness Resort. These new projects will be accompanied by all necessary services, infrastructure and facilities.
Although these new projects will be developed in the same municipality as our resort, they will not have any negative impact on Altaona because Altaona Resort is on the edge of a large nature reserve and the resort has a very spacious layout with only 9% built of the total 3.6 million m² resort area, so the Altaona community maintains its spacious, private and tranquil character.
