TAOLIS invites visionary architects to compete in designing the Alhambra Tourist Apartments, a sustainable, high-end hospitality project within Altaona Sports & Wellness Resort.
This competition aims to select the architect who will be responsible for the final design and management of this groundbreaking residential-tourism complex, that redefines modern luxury, sustainability, and architectural excellence.
The winning architect becomes a key member of TAOLIS’ elite architectural team.

Project requirements:
Total Units: 600 apartments.
Layouts: 2 (300 units) and 3 (300 units) bedroom options.
Sustainable Design: Green roofs, aerothermal energy, solar panels, water recycling.
Building Features: No duplexes, all units on one level, accessible by elevator.
Shared Amenities: Co-working spaces, pools, botanical gardens, restaurants, waste management facilities.
Plots available:
Plot 1: 43,422 m² (Max buildable: 30,877 m²).
Plot 2: 46,560 m² (Max buildable: 32,950 m²).
Height Restriction: Maximum 3 floors (Max height: 9 meters).
Who can
apply?
To participate in this competition, applicants must:
Be a qualified architect in Spain.
Reside in Murcia or be willing to relocate for project execution.
Speak native Spanish (basic English preferred).
Demonstrate experience in high-end residential or hospitality projects.
Submit a portfolio of previous work.
Agree to TAOLIS’ competition terms and conditions.
Submission
guidelines
Participants must submit a comprehensive architectural proposal (PDF format), including:
Conceptual Design. Preliminary masterplan and layouts.
Architectural Drawings. Floor plans, sections, elevations.
Integration with Nature. Landscaping concepts, environmental harmony.
Material & Energy Efficiency Strategy. Recommendations for durable, aesthetically pleasing, and energy-efficient materials.
Additional Visuals. 3D renders, concept illustrations.
Submission deadline: March 31st, 2025.
