18 holes are currently operational and the masterplan reserves land for a total of 27 holes, so the course grows alongside the resort. Generous landing areas reward an ambitious tee shot, while well-placed bunkers and subtle greens keep the scorecard honest.
Golf lessons and coaching are available for every level, from a first grip to a competitive handicap, and the mild Murcian winter means the course plays as well in January as it does in May.

At Altaona, golf is the opening move rather than the whole game. The resort is planned as a complete sports and wellness destination, where movement is part of everyday life rather than something you schedule.
Tennis, paddle and basketball are already part of resort life, and the masterplan adds a sports complex with 10 tennis and 10 paddle courts, indoor and outdoor fitness centres, further swimming pools, and dedicated spaces for pilates, yoga and meditation. A wave surf lagoon capable of producing up to 1,000 waves an hour is also planned.
Beyond the courts, hundreds of kilometres of running, cycling, hiking and horse-riding trails start at the gate and climb into the sierra, with guided routes and bike workshops for those who prefer company.
