SISMO
construction system
Innovative construction technique. At Altaona Sports & Wellness Resort, we build your new home with a construction method that stands out for its durability, efficiency and sustainability.
The SISMO method is a new construction technique based on a perimeter concrete structure built in-situ. providing enhanced safety and comfort while ensuring the exceptional quality of your home.
Modular
System
Unlike other modular construction systems, the SISMO system does not build complete houses. Instead, it produces modules for the structure, enclosures, walls and slabs, which are transported and easily assembled on-site.
This approach allows the design to adapt to the architect’s needs, rather than the other way around, enabling the creation of curved shapes, sloped roofs or complete buildings.
SISMO
Benefits
Speed of construction, time is reduced compared to traditional methods.
Maximum energy efficiency, provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, which can reduce heating and cooling costs.
Structural strength, form a solid concrete perimeter structure and resistant to earthquakes, hurricanes and other natural disasters.
Design flexibility, can be adapted to a variety of architectural designs.
Sustainability, reduces the amount of waste allowing for a more sustainable construction.
SISMO
Concept
Use of SISMO components and models. The fundamental configuration of the system consists of a 3-dimensional module, composed of a galvanized steel mesh.
This mesh acts as protection and support for the finishing elements of the construction. On the outside, infill panels are incorporated to convert this configuration into a closed structure that is internally filled with concrete.
Efficient
construction
Effective Insulation: The excellent thermal and acoustic insulation of the SISMO construction technology results in an eco-friendly, efficient and more sustainable building, with the potential to achieve high-level energy certifications and generating real savings on energy bills.
Additionally, a significant reduction in waste is achieved during construction, which is an important factor when discussing sustainable housing.
