Conditions Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Terms &amp; Conditions Competition<\/h1>\n<h2>Architectural design competition<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Organized: By TAOLIS\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Location: Altaona Sports &amp; Wellness Resort, Murcia, Spain<\/p>\n<h4>01 Objective:<\/h4>\n<p>The purpose of this competition is to select an architectural proposal for the Alhambra Tourist Apartments, a modern reinterpretation of the existing Alhambra Residential Apartments with a distinctive Arabic influence, while ensuring sustainable, functional, and aesthetically harmonious designs.<\/p>\n<p>The winning architect will become part of the Taolis architecture design team.<\/p>\n<h4>02 Eligibility<\/h4>\n<p>Participants must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a qualified architect in Spain.<\/li>\n<li>Be a resident of Murcia or willing to relocate upon selection (to manage the project as part of the Taolis team).<\/li>\n<li>Be fluent in Spanish (basic English is preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Have experience in sustainable and high-end residential or hospitality projects.<\/li>\n<li>Submit a portfolio showcasing relevant previous work.<\/li>\n<li>Accept the competition\u2019s terms and conditions before participation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>03 Competition Stages:<\/h4>\n<p>03.01 Registration &amp; Submission<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The competition is hosted on the Taolis online platform.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Submission deadline: March 31, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Participants must register and submit all required documents in PDF format.<\/p>\n<p>03.02 Submission Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Each proposal must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preliminary project (Anteproyecto): Conceptual design with key aspects.<\/li>\n<li>Master plan: Layout demonstrating connectivity with the surrounding area.<\/li>\n<li>Architectural drawings: Floor plans, sections, elevations.<\/li>\n<li>Building and apartment layouts.<\/li>\n<li>Sustainability strategies (LED lighting, solar panels, water recycling, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Integration with nature: Considerations for blending with the environment.<\/li>\n<li>Material selection: Recommendations based on durability and aesthetics.<\/li>\n<li>Energy efficiency strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Additional graphic documentation (visual aids to enhance project understanding).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>04 Selection Criteria<\/h4>\n<p>The proposals will be evaluated based on the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Architectural quality and innovation.<\/li>\n<li>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sustainability and energy efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Integration with the site and surroundings.<\/li>\n<li>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Functionality and feasibility.<\/li>\n<li>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Compliance with competition requirements and local regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The jury will be composed of Taolis representatives.<\/p>\n<h4>05 Winner Announcement &amp; Award<\/h4>\n<p>The winning architect will be announced via the Taolis platform.<\/p>\n<p>The winner will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Join the Taolis design team.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate in the project execution at Altaona Sports &amp; Wellness Resort.<\/li>\n<li>Gain international recognition for their contribution.<\/li>\n<li>Taolis reserves the right to declare the competition void if no satisfactory proposals are received.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>06 Intellectual Property Rights<\/h4>\n<p>Participants retain the copyright of their designs.<br \/>\nThe winning proposal will become the property of Taolis, granting them exclusive usage rights for project execution.<br \/>\nTaolis reserves the right to modify and adapt the winning design as needed.<br \/>\nNon-winning participants may not claim compensation for their work.<\/p>\n<h4>07 Legal Framework &amp; Liability<\/h4>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The competition follows Spanish contract and intellectual property laws, including:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ley de Contratos del Sector P\u00fablico (Law 9\/2017) for public procurement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ley 21\/2014, de 4 de noviembre, por la que se modifica el texto refundido de la Ley de Propiedad Intelectual, aprobado por Real Decreto Legislativo 1\/1996, de 12 de abril, y la Ley 1\/2000, de 7 de enero, de Enjuiciamiento Civil.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Building regulations of the Region of Murcia.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Participants agree to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Taolis is not liable for any disputes arising from unauthorized use of copyrighted materials by participants.<\/p>\n<h4>08 Disqualification &amp;
